Being a Man in a Woman's World

I THINK THAT ONLY GOOD GUYS SHOULD FINISH FIRST.. i WOULD PERFER TO HAVE A GOOD GUY THEN A BAD GUY..

Has he not heard the song "This is a Man's World" by James Brown? LOL

The doctor gives lots of good advice and has done some really interesting research. This should be required reading for all Afro members.

Interesting, altho bs, bad guys do finish first and that's how this world works. Usually anyway.

Personally I feel that relationships come prepackaged. If two people want a relationship to flourish much work and maintanence is needed. I have never had a dream woman fall from the sky.

I agree with Natural and Sweet - this is still a man's world and until women learn to get by on their own without needing a man to validate them - it always will be.

I seem to be attracted to guys who are bad. Good guys in my experience are boring to me. I hope to change soon!

Good article, but some of it doesn't work in real world situations. For the most part, women will always instincively know the Alpha male and choose him over what may be closer to what the want. It's a genetic thing. The strong are who we as human beings mate with, to keep the chain going.

I think when people go online that have to realize that they may bring their bad dating habits with them. I recently would out with someone who did all they wrong things. Being online give one a chance to may re-evaluate thier dating style and goals.

I wish nice guys finish first, but realistically thats usually doesn't happen...

I really loved this article! Sometimes trying to meet that special one becomes stressful. Finding ways of easing the way helps.

Women aren't even coming close to dominating the world. Look at women in Africa and Asia - places where they're not allowed to drive or get an education because of their gender. Things maybe improving for women in the western world but for women in the developing world, who make up the majority, the struggle still has a long way to go.

Remember that women like men that are confident. They dont have to be the best at anything as long as they are confident in what they are.

Isn't this all about how to be superficial? Learning the best ways to be dishonest. well, if you are making a game of it, then someone has to win and someone has to lose. But if you are honest with yourself. and not playing the game. and if someone allows themself to be interrupted then it is their loss and not yours. they will miss being with the wonderful person that you are.

i think for a man to survive in a woman\'s world, and a woman to survive in a man\'s world is to get the hell over yourself and learn. some men try to cope as well as they can to women\'s emotional needy ways. but women need to learn how to calm the hell down cause that is what is gonna keep them single. i grew up with dudes, on a military base, i\'m a total tomboy. i cling more to the man\'s way of thinking than a woman\'s way. the best way to survive is to BE FRIGGIN HONEST!!! dudes and chicks, tell them what you want at the gate instead of fooling yourselves into THINKING you want something important when all you\'re really tryin to get is some ass. dudes, if that\'s al lu want, tell her. i know there are some chicks that are goin for the same thing. and women, quit thinking that every date you go on is gonna be \'\'MR RIGHT\'\'. stop callin him every 4 min.
